I'm Dancing

A cool song, but you kind of overdid it. no song really needs to be 7 and a half minutes long. And the beginning was kind of stretching it too... but it was good nevertheless.

Hey if you guys liked this, check out my song biotech. Just search it in the auido search. Yeah, I'm stooping that low: putting an ad for my own music in another songs reveiw. Yeah I'm desperate :P

CloudDJ responds:

It doesn't matter how long the song as long as it good, I think its very stupid to determine how good it is just by the length.
I never stretch a song, I put effort at each second to achieve what I have in mind while making it.
Also, putting ad for you music is disrespect, try not to embarrass yourself.

It was very good, but the bass drum dominated over everything else, and overpowered everything, making it swell.

lol

Good job. Sounds cool :D

Hey I just noticed something... the Russians call Russian territory "the Motherland", but the Germans call THEIR land "the Fatherland"... so I was thinking... what would happen if the Motherland and Fatherland had a child?

A Broken Record

Has some nice chords and a good beat, but, im afraid to say, it's extremely repetitive in the beginning, and all you really do is alternate the beat, add stuff, and take stuff out for the first couple minutes. Then it starts changing from a bridge and goes back, with no real change, except i noticed a piano part. Try experimenting with notes in the same key and beat, and just messing around til you get something that sounds good, to change it up.

industrial revolution

sounds like slow industrial to me. but thats my opinion. it's still a decent track.

Sounds Good... now wheres the rest of it? :D

Nice beat and bass. Volume swells make good with low synth, and makes the rhythm more interesting. I'll have to try it out.

Thank you mate.

Interesting but boring

I came here via your post on the forum. Very good for a first try, I must say.

Although the tutorials on youtube don't really help much, since when your starting out, most likely you have the free version, which is not nearly as flexible or as productive as the bought version(i have a friend who has the complete, $500 version... I want to steal his computer :P). I personally learn better when I find things out for myself, and also, you get tons of little surprises(not all good im afraid :P) and find new things out about the program all the time. Although FL Studio, which i use also, is quite versitile, having the free version doesn't cut it for me, although I still use it for my music.

If you are just first beginning, and need some good sounds and beats, I'd suggest looking through the preloaded songs on fl studio. They can help you jumpstart by giving you ideas(don't steal them! :D) and some awesome sounds. Unfortunatley, on FL Studio, at least for me, when you load a premade song, some sounds don't load properly, and there's not much you can add. I don't know if it;s the program or the virus that recently destroyed my harddrive... anyway, that should give you some help.

As for scoring, I'm going to have to agree with killaboy69. It's very repetitive, and not long enough to be healthfully considered by a club for example(sorry for crushing you hopes and dreams :[ ). Although do what I did, and keep trying! Everything I started out doing was complete crap, so you're better off than me. If you want to see some real trash, look up music by NJAtlantic and WinterDagger2, some of my older accounts. Don't forget to blam them! :)

Hope this helped a little :)

7/10

3/5

P.S. I'm going easy on scoring, since it's your first time. Normally, it would be a 3/10 and a 1/5 :3

Cynus Say:

I know I'm no musical artist, even though I do have great musical ability(I still haven't figured out how to work FL Studio completely, even though I've had it for 2 months :/ Waiting for my guitar pedal at Christmas so I can actually record xD).

This song is simple, with some nice sounds, a good beat; not to hard, not to light; and not complete techno.

Now, I hate New Wave music: like for example, Enya(which is technically Celtic, but it's considered new wave). Truth be told, I am all about melodies. Another truth be told, I love heavy metal. I like Killswitch Engage, and In Flames, which are both melodic metal bands. Check them out sometime ;)

If anything sounds beautiful and meshes musically with style, I like it. This has grabbed my attention. I love it. And believe me, you should be proud: I'm a hard one to get a compliment out of. Nice work Bak.

Sincerely, Cynus

Oh, and a note to all you haters and even non haters who are fighting in their reveiws, I have some things to say to you. Just because somebody doesn't like something you do, you don't have to thrash them for it. Everybody's opinion matters: mine, yours, and everyone elses. So please: be peaceful. Let's try not to make Newgrounds like Youtube where every other video you watch has some type of arguement in the comments section.
